Fee Schedule

Our home visits have two base fees: the house call fee and the examination fee. There is only one travel fee per visit, regardless of the number of pets we see. Every visit includes one follow-up phone call or e-mail, if needed. Additional phone/email consultations have a time-based fee schedule.

The house call fee varies by address and location. The fee covers the travel time and costs associated with bringing our doctor and assistant to your home with all necessary equipment. There is only one travel fee per visit, regardless of the number of pets we see. The travel fee does not include examinations or consultations.

1 Additional time may be required for new patients, sick pets, and complicated medical issues.

Why are there two fees for a house call?
Our home visits have two base fees: the house call/travel fee ($160–$210) covers bringing our doctor and assistant to your home with all necessary equipment, and the examination fee ($110–$155) covers the actual medical consultation. There is only one travel fee per visit regardless of how many pets we see.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept personal check, cash, credit card, and secure online payment.
What is included in the euthanasia fee?
The $440 flat rate includes the house call, the euthanasia procedure, and an ink paw print keepsake, if desired. Cremation services, if chosen, will incur an additional fee ($325 for private cremation — ashes available, $155 for general cremation — ashes not provided).
Does every visit include follow-up?
Yes. Every visit (excluding euthanasia visits) includes one follow-up phone call or email at no additional charge, if there are questions about a diagnosis or treatment plan. Additional phone or email consultations are billed at $55 per 15 minutes.
