Why North Portland Cat Owners Go With House Calls

North Portland's eclectic, community-minded neighborhoods are a natural fit for in-home veterinary care. From the shops along Lombard Street in St. Johns to the bungalows of Kenton and the tree-lined blocks near the University of Portland, cat owners here value the personal touch that a house call provides.

Many North Portland cats are beloved indoor companions in homes filled with character. Our veterinarians enjoy getting to know each cat in their own environment — perched on a favorite windowsill or curled up on their chosen chair. These observations tell us things about your cat's health that a clinical exam room never could.

For families with cats who dread the carrier or become carsick on the drive to a clinic, our house calls are a welcome alternative. We bring everything needed for a thorough examination and treatment, and your cat never has to leave the comfort of home.
