Why Portland Cat Owners Choose House Calls

Portland is home to thousands of devoted cat households, and we bring veterinary care to every one of them. From the tree-lined streets of Southeast to the hills of Southwest, our veterinarians and technicians travel to your door so your cat never has to leave their safe space.

Our house calls give us time that a traditional clinic visit simply cannot. We get to observe your cat in their own environment — where they eat, sleep, and play — which reveals subtle health clues that a sterile exam room would mask.

Whether your cat is a young indoor explorer or a beloved senior companion, we tailor every visit to their needs. No rushed appointments, no waiting rooms, and no carrier anxiety — just focused, personal veterinary care.

Our home visits have two base fees: the house call fee and the examination fee. There is only one travel fee per visit, regardless of the number of pets we see. Every visit includes one follow-up phone call or e-mail.

Frequently Asked Questions — Portland

Do you serve all Portland neighborhoods?
Yes. We travel throughout Portland including Southeast, Northeast, Northwest, Southwest, and North Portland. Our house call fee varies slightly based on distance from our Tigard office — most Portland addresses fall in the $160–$170 range.
How is a house call different from a clinic visit?
Our house calls range from 30 minutes to over one hour with no time limits. You and your cat receive the full attention of our veterinarian and technician. We can observe your cat in their natural environment, which gives us a clearer health picture than a stressful exam room.
Can you do diagnostics at my Portland home?
Yes. We bring portable digital x-ray, ultrasound, and lab equipment to your home. Blood work, urinalysis, and other tests can be performed right in your living room.
