Why West Hills Cat Owners Choose House Calls

Portland's West Hills neighborhoods — from the tree-covered slopes of Council Crest to the winding roads of Sylvan Highlands and the established communities of Portland Heights — are home to many devoted cat guardians. The hillside setting that makes these neighborhoods so beautiful can also make veterinary trips especially challenging. Our house calls solve that entirely.

For cats living in the West Hills, the journey to a veterinary clinic often means a lengthy drive down steep, winding roads followed by a stressful waiting room experience. Our in-home approach skips all of that. We travel to you, arriving with everything needed to provide thorough, unhurried veterinary care while your cat stays comfortable in their own space.

Many West Hills properties offer peaceful, spacious environments where cats thrive as indoor companions. Our veterinarians get to see your cat in this natural setting, which provides valuable health insights — how they move through the house, where they rest, whether their routine has changed. These details matter in feline medicine.

Frequently Asked Questions — West Hills

Do you travel to homes in the West Hills?
Yes. We serve all West Hills neighborhoods including Portland Heights, Council Crest, Sylvan Highlands, Arlington Heights, Kings Heights, and Greenway. Travel fees for West Hills addresses are typically in the $160–$170 range.
The roads to my home are steep — is that an issue?
Not at all. Our team is accustomed to navigating the West Hills' winding roads and steep driveways. We serve this area regularly and plan our routes accordingly.
What if my cat needs surgery?
Surgery requires a hospital setting. If your cat needs a surgical procedure, we will refer you to a trusted veterinary hospital and coordinate the referral. We provide pre-surgical consultations and post-surgical follow-up care at your home.
